Our Storey

Founder Lee Ah Puang, who started Ban Hin Chan in the business dealing of Bicycle's, Baby Carriages, Sewing Machines, Motorcycle and Trading before Singapore Independence in 1961 and is located at 110 Hill Street between the Hill Street Police Station and Central Fire Station in the central of Singapore. 

In 1980, as part of the Singapore redevelopment program.  Ban Hin Chan were  re-settled by Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to G10 North Bridge Road, Capitol Building for a temporary seating. Since them we only focus in bicycles & baby carriages and also started a small commission agent business for export trading. 

In 1985, we move to 109 North Bridge Road,  #03-32 Funan Centre, during them we divide 70% of business in major branded toys, etc. 20% in branded carriages, etc. and 10% remain in bicycle as we at situated in 3rd floor. Funan Centre went into major re-renovate and after we were re-located at  #03-18 in 1994. 

In 1991, we eventually branch out to 229 Victoria Street, Bugis Village, mainly in Bicycle’s and commission agents for re-export.  

In Oct 2003, we moved to 232 Tanjong Katong Road a 2 storey shop house in order to consolidate our goods in 1 location and allow us to deliver our products more efficient. 

In Oct 2007, we moved to 804 North Bridge Road
